RICOH Run for Heroes
On behalf of the RICOH Way Employee Engagement, Customer First and Diversity Business Resource Council's we are excited to launch the 4th annual RICOH Run for Heroes in support of our brave heroes. This year's beneficiary is the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
This initiative is a "virtual" run (or any other fun event) that creates awareness and raises funds for military veterans. Each year we select organizations that provide direct support to service members and their families.
The 2018 RICOH Run for Heroes "virtual" event will take place in the month of May, which celebrates both Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day. Local teams are encouraged to organize an event on either May 19th (Armed Forces Day) or May 26th (Memorial Day Weekend). These events can range from afternoon team walks/runs, picnics, bowling, corn-hole, etc. The key is to raise money for our selected charity while driving employee engagement. As a "virtual" event our RICOH employees also have the opportunity to support the event by running/walking in their neighborhood or just simply donating to the charity.
Participate at home with your family, friends and or neighbors!
- Walk, run, cycle, shoot some hoops, hit the links, play some pitch - you get the idea!
- Gather in your neighborhood, meet at a local park or hang out in your own backyard - it's whatever works for you!
- Want to organize something for your local Ricoh office? Engage your local leadership team and sponsor groups found in your local office including RICOH Way Ambassadors, Customer First, Employee Wellness, Diversity & Social Responsibility and the Veteran's Programs Teams.
