Milestones, the clinical division of Stone Belt, is seeking a Recreation Therapist to join our team!

The Recreation Therapists at Milestones Health and Clinical Resource, a Stone Belt ARC, Inc. division, organize therapy sessions and develop rehabilitation programs tailored to the needs of our clients. You will interact with clients, offer physical and mental wellness recommendations, and assist them in recreational activities such as art, sports, music, or dance. Our recreation therapists aim to improve clients’ overall health and help them adjust to disabilities or illnesses through engaging and therapeutic experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organizing therapy sessions to interact with clients and offer recommendations for physical and mental wellness
• Developing and implementing rehabilitation programs to help clients adjust to a disability or illness
• Ensuring treatment plans are suitable for clients’ physical condition and are in accordance with their preferences
• Building unique therapeutic relationships with clients and assisting them with fun exercises and other therapeutic activities for their illnesses.
• Ultimately, you will work directly with patients through therapeutic activities and treatment to help them recover from various injuries and illnesses.
• Prepare and present reports to the treatment team to highlight patients’ responses to therapy.
